Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Emergency Measures Organization

Being prepared for emergencies may help to reduce injuries, loss of life and damage to property should a disaster or emergency occur.

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield benefits from the volunteer services provided by many individuals and the members of the Emergency Measures Organization are no exception. This dedicated team oversees the Community Emergency Preparedness Municipal Emergency Response Plan and exercises the Plan on a yearly basis. The Emergency Measures Organization ensures a coordinated response to the crisis at hand and is currently looking for volunteers to join their team when vacancies occur.

The Organization meets one evening a month (with the exception of the summer months) and is available to report for duty in the event of a disaster or emergency.
