R. Mark Snow was present and gave the following presentation:

• Mr. Snow questioned the significance of the variance request and its advantage to him;
• he had concerns with regard to his view being obstructed;
• he was also concerned with the module unit being placed on the site     creating a negative resale value of his home.

The Development Officer also advised him that he could obtain access to the Zoning By-law through the Town’s web page.

The following motion was then made:

“…moved by Ralph Stevens that the Planning Advisory Committee approve the following variance to the Town’s Zoning By-law, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield By-law No. 101, for the location and placement of a new single family home, to be located at 2 River Bend Court, PID No. 30141105:

a) under section 8.1.7, grant a variance of 1.4 m to reduce the required height of foundation wall from 750 mm above the centreline grade of the street to a maximum of 650 mm below the centreline grade of the street….”
