| (B) SPECIAL COUNCIL MINUTES OF DECEMBER 22, 2005
“…moved by Cllr. Little to receive and file the Regular Council Minutes of December 12, 2005 and the Special Council Minutes of December 22, 2005….” Seconded by Jim Burke. Carried.

| 5. | CHAIRMAN’S REMARKS | ||
| Vice-Chairman, Ralph Stevens welcomed new Member, Linda Estabrooks to PAC, and congratulated Jim Burke on his recent appointment for another term. | |||
| 6. | ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 2006 | ||
| During the Election of Officers for 2006, Cllr. Little took the chair.
Cllr. Little called three times for nominations for Chairman, with one nomination received as follows: “…moved by Jim Burke and seconded by Mel Steffens to nominate Ralph Stevens for office of Chairman of the Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee for 2006….” Ralph agreed to let his nomination stand and was elected Chairman of the Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee for 2006. Cllr. Little called three times for nominations for Vice-Chairman, with nominations received as follows: “…moved by Ralph Stevens and seconded by Jim Burke to nominate James Evans for office of Vice-Chairman of the Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee….” James Evans declined to let his nomination stand for the position of Vice-Chairman. “…moved by Ralph Stevens and seconded by Jim Burke to nominate Ron Daigle for office of Vice-Chairman of the Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee for 2006….” Ron agreed to let his name stand and was elected Vice-Chairman of the Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee for 2006. Chairman, Ralph Stevens then resumed the Chair.

“…moved by Jim Burke to receive and file the Development Officer’s Memo dated January 5, 2006 Re: Conflict of Interest….” Seconded by Ron Daigle. Carried.
