The Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee met for a regular meeting on Monday, November 17, 2003 at 8:03 p.m. in the Multi-Purpose Room, 609 River Valley Drive with Chairman, Larry Chapman presiding.

7. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S MEMO DATED OCTOBER 21, 2003
RE:  PAC RULES OF PROCEDURE, AMENDMENT

 “…moved by Cllr. Little to adopt the following amendment to the Planning Advisory Committee Rules of Procedure by revising Section VI, Business Procedures, Item 12 to delete  the reference to a Member’s term as 3-years in the matter of giving notice to missing a meeting, rather to read as follows:

  • A Member who is unable to attend a particular Committee meeting is required to notify the Town Office in advance of the meeting.  A first non-notification of attendance during a term of office may be excused by the Committee for reasonable cause, any subsequent non-notification of attendance during a term of office shall result in a recommendation to Council by the Committee for removal of the Member.

8. MEMO FROM DEVELOPMENT OFFICER DATED OCTOBER 21, 2003
RE: BY-LAW AMENDMENT 

“…moved by Cllr. Little that the Planning Advisory Committee recommend to Council the adoption of the Draft Zoning By-law Amendment, By-law No. 101 B….”

Seconded by Mel Steffens.  Carried.
 
9.  ADJOURNMENT
Ralph Stevens moved to adjourn at 8:05 p.m.
Seconded by Jim Burke.  Carried.
