for a regular meeting on Monday, July 21, 2003 at 8:02 p.m. with Chairman,
Larry Chapman presiding.

| RE: APPLICATION FOR SIMILAR AND COMPATIBLE USE
CARRIE BRIDEAU – 22 MURRAY STREET One letter was received from adjacent property owner James Thomas, expressing his concerns with regard to increasing the limit of the number of children to 25. Applicant, Carrie Brideau was present during the Open Session and addressed Mr. Thomas’ letter as follows:
The following motion was then made: “…moved by Ralph Stevens that the Planning Advisory Committee grant the following request to permit the use of a Daycare Facility with a maximum of 25 children on the property located at 22 Murray St., PID No. 00466540 as a use similar and compatible to other permitted uses under the Town’s Zoning By-law, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield By-law # 101, subject to: a) completion of all conditions of approval required by the Provincial Department of Health and Wellness for a valid license to operate a Daycare Facility….” Seconded by Cllr. Little. Carried.

| RE: APPLICATION FOR VARIANCE
BLISS HANSON – 53 INGLEWOOD DRIVE Applicant, Bliss Hanson was present during the Open Session and advised the Committee of the following:
There was no one else present speaking in favor of or against this Application. The following motion was then made: “…moved by Cllr. Little that the Planning Advisory Committee grant the following Request for Variance to the Town’s Zoning By-law, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield By-law No. 101, to erect a wooden fence at 53 Inglewood Drive, PID No. 00475475: a) under section 5.9 (3)(a), a variance of 0.6 m to increase the height from 1.5 m to 2.1 m, and b) under section 5.9 (5) (b), a variance of 0.45 m to decrease the minimum set back from the property from 0.6 m to 0.15 m, subject to the increased height be limited to a maximum of 6 m setback from the front property line….” Seconded by Ralph Stevens. Carried.
