Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:00 AM, local time, May 21 , 2004. 

The Work consists generally of the supply and installation of approximately: 2,070 lineal metres of 200 mm diameter and 610 lineal metres of 100 mm diameter polyvinyl chloride DR35 sanitary sewer pipe; 10 lineal metres of 200 mm diameter and 110 lineal meters of 100 mm diameter polyvinyl chloride C900 DR25 pressure pipe complete with fittings and appurtenances; 800 lineal meters of 50 mm diameter high density polyethylene pressure pipe DR 13.5; 40 lineal meters of 450 mm diameter reinforced concrete storm sewer pipe; 31 sanitary manholes; a wastewater pumping station complete with valve chamber; a “Tideflex”chamber; 2 grinder pump stations; 13 residential pumping units; environmental protection and site restoration.

Particular Specifications may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, P.O. Box 3001, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B., E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST).

A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the fixed amount of  ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($120,000.00) must accompany each Tender.

Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.

Tenders will be opened publicly at the Town Office as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.

This Project is being implemented pursuant to the Canada/New Brunswick Infrastructure Program agreement and will be financed in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement.
