DEVELOPMENT CONCEPT PLAN

COMMERCIAL/MULTI-DENSITY RESIDENTIAL

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is requesting proposals from qualified, interested parties to co-ordinate the preparation of a sustainable Development Concept Plan for lands located within the community between the commercial core (southern boundary) and Highland Road (future Highway interchange with access to Route 7).

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is looking to adopt a coordinated sustainable Development Concept Plan for an area of roughly 140 hectares of undeveloped land. The successful proposal will recognize urban planning principles of sustainable community modeling based upon community participation in shaping the future development growth in the area. Proposal Information including Plan of area and Tender Forms may be picked up at the Municipal Offices, 609 River Valley Drive, during normal business hours.

Proposals addressed to Sandra Gautreau, Town Manager, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, PO Box 3001, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB E5K 4V3, identified on the envelope as "Proposal for Preparation of Development Concept Plan, Commercial/Multi-density Residential Access Corridor, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield", will be received until closing time 3 p.m., Wednesday April 13, 2005. Proposals must be clearly marked with the closing time and date on the outside of the envelope.

Proposals will be opened publicly immediately following the closing time in the Boardroom of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Municipal Offices, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB.
