Energy
Efficiency Tip (August, 2010)
This
month’s energy efficiency tip…
Heating
in the summer
Many
people only turn down their thermostats instead of turning them
off.
If you have an old thermostat, its accuracy may be reduced which
could lead the thermostat to trigger the heater when you least expect
it.
Make
sure your heaters are off in the summer. There is no point
paying for heat when you don't need it...especially in rooms that are
not used regularly.
