Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:00 A.M., local time, March 22, 2007 at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office.

The Work consists generally of the construction of a free standing building of approximately 180 m2 (1950 s.f.).  The River Centre incorporating heavy timber decking and a steel frame is designed to be an open concept and is complete with a large multipurpose room, accessible washrooms, kitchen facilities and support areas.  A number of sustainable design features have been incorporated in the design.

Contract Documents may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, P.O. Box 3001, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B, E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST).

A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the tendered quotation must accompany each Tender.

Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.

Tenders will be opened publicly at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office immediately after the Tender Closing. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
