NOTICE TO RESIDENTS

regarding

LANE CLOSURE OF RIVER VALLEY DRIVE

In order to improve safety and sight distance on River Valley Drive, the Town has awarded a contract to Maguire Excavating Ltd. for reshaping the knoll between Murray Street and the new Colonel Nase Boulevard. Work is expected to start during the week of August 1st and continue for several weeks.

It will be necessary to reduce traffic to one lane at times during the work day. Steps have been taken to minimize traffic interruptions and the contractor is required to have two lanes open to traffic from 4:30PM until 8:30AM the following morning. This project is necessary to improve the safety of our street system.

Work Zone: River Valley Drive between Murray Street and Colonel Nase Boulevard.

Scheduled Dates: Week of August 1, 2011 to August 31, 2011
