 Let’s spend the night together ! The Organizing Committee invites all Grand Bay-Westfield residents to be a part of the Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life event in Grand Bay-Westfield. The event will be held 6:00 pm, Friday June 10 through to 7:00 am, Saturday June 11, 2011, at the River Valley Middle School. Relay For Life is an event like no other. It is a 12 hour overnight Relay to Celebrate Cancer Survivors; Remember those touched by cancer; and Fight Back to make a difference in the future of cancer control. We invite you to be a part of the celebration. Support the teams, cheer on our Cancer Survivors during the Survivor Victory Lap at 7:00 pm or light a Luminary to reflect on someone you know touched by cancer during the moving Luminary Ceremony at 10:00 pm. As a resident living close to the River Valley Middle School Field, the site of the Relay for Life event, we are asking for your understanding during the evening of June 10 through to the morning of June 11.
