Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:30 A.M., local time, May 24, 2007 at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office.

The Work consists generally of the supply and installation of approximately 212 lineal metres of storm sewer pipe ranging in size from 200 mm to 1200 mm in diameter complete with precast concrete structures; 800 cubic metres of common material roadway excavation; supply , placement and compaction of 900 tonnes of pit run gravel and 320 tonnes of crushed gravel; construction of 430 lineal metres of concrete curb and gutter and 100 lineal metres of reinforced concrete sidewalk; supply, placement and compaction of 130 tonnes of hot-mix asphalt and site restoration.

Contract Documents may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, P.O. Box 3001, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B, E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST).

A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the fixed amount of FIFTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($15,000.00) must accompany each Tender.

Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.

Tenders will be opened publicly at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.

This project is being implemented pursuant to the Canada-New Brunswick Agreement on the Transfer of Federal Gas Tax Revenue and the Provincial Gas Tax Top-up Fund and is being financed in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement.
