Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:00 A.M., local time, May 31, 2006. 

The Work consists generally of the supply and installation of approximately 40 lineal metres of 200 mm diameter polyvinyl chloride storm sewer pipe complete with precast concrete catch basins; the construction of approximately 810 lineal metres of concrete curb and gutter and 800 lineal metres of reinforced concrete sidewalk;  and site restoration.

Particular Specifications may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, 609 River Valley Drive, P.O. Box 3001, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B., E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST).

A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the fixed amount of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000.00) must accompany each Tender.

Every Contractor submitting a Tender for this project must be thoroughly familiar with the tendering procedures according to the General Regulations and Amendments thereto a Regulation under the Crown Construction Contracts Act. Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.

Tenders will be opened publicly at the Town Office as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.

This project is  cost shared by the Department of Transportation of the Province of New Brunswick under the provincially Designated Highway Program and the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield.
