TENNIS COURT AND BALLFIELD IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed Tenders properly marked as to contents and bearing the title of the Work addressed to the undersigned will be received until 11:00 A.M., local time, September 24 , 2009 at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office.

The Work consists generally of making improvements to the tennis courts and ballfield at Inglewood Drive including approximately 150 cubic metres of common excavation; supply and placement of 220 tonnes of pit run gravel, 230 tonnes of crushed gravel and 18 tonnes of crushed stone; supply and installation of 330 square metres of pavement reinforcement and 235 tonnes of hot-mix asphalt concrete; line markings; supply and installation of a new batting cage ; and site restoration.

Contract Documents may be obtained from the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, P.O. Box 3001, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, N.B, E5K 4V3 OR FROM Godfrey Associates Ltd., 186 Adelaide Street, Saint John, N.B., E2K 1X1, upon payment of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00) NON-REFUNDABLE (which includes applicable HST).

A Bid Bond or Certified Cheque, payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, in the fixed amount of EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($8,500.00) must accompany each Tender.

Tender Documents will be on display at the Construction Association Offices in Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton.

Tenders will be opened publicly at the Grand Bay-Westfield Town Office as soon after the Tender Closing as possible. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reserves the right to reject any and all tenders and also reserves the right to not necessarily accept the lowest Tender.
