Paint in the town of Grand Bay-Westfield on Sunday September 26, 2010. This is the second year for this adventure in “Artists in Motion”, permitting the public a definite “hands on view” of an artist.

The small unframed paintings you produce that day, and some of your other works, will be sold this day in a silent auction at Brundage Point River Centre. This is a fundraiser for The Guila Inch Memorial Fund. The revenue from sales will be divided 50/50 between the artist and The Guila Inch Memorial Fund. Guila Inch was a renowned local artist and the fund developed in her name is to support local aspiring artists.

Artists can choose a location, branching out from Brundage Point River Centre. Artists are requested to produce works to sell in the $30.00 - $60.00 range, making them suitable for locals and visitors to the area. Artists may bring five unframed pieces (8x10 or smaller) for display on site, space permitting. The River Centre and area provides a variety of possible painting attractions, boats, lighthouses, wharves, ferries, gardens, and people! Please bring your own comfortable chair and easel.

Artist registration commences at 10:00am at Brundage Point River Centre.

Artists must set up their displays at this time. Then the on site painting continues until 2:00 pm at which time artists return to Brundage Point for the silent auction and refreshments at 2:30pm. Artists are requested to be there for the silent auction. This is a” rain or shine event” and finishes at 4:00 pm; some tent space will be available.
