Halloween Tales on the Trail

Halloween Event

Friday, October 28, 2011

Come to Brundage Point River Centre to learn what's behind all the symbols of Halloween. Why Black Cats, Ghosts, Monsters, Witches, Dracula and Frankenstein figures, tombstones, headless figures, flaming pumpkins, are seen more and more on homes, in gardens, and around sheds  at this time year and will be seen along the Brundage Point Trail as David Goss explains it all using stories, songs and stunts that are age appropriate.

The path is stroller friendly, but the Halloween figures spook dogs...so they can't come! Costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded to the best. Parents must accompany the younger ones, but the older ones can be left for the one hour program. Event will be held indoors if it is wet. Seasonal snacks and Witch’s Brew will follow each of the walks.

Ages up to 7 at 6 p.m.

Ages over 7 at 7 p.m.

Admission is Free Prizes Refreshments
