Let Veterans know we will never forget…

February 7 - 12, 2010

Brundage Point River Centre

Show local Veterans your gratitude for their sacrifices and achievements in serving our country. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield will have blank Valentine’s Day sheets at the Brundage Point River Centre and the Town Office for residences to sign and write a message which will help bring joy to a local Veteran this Valentine's Day. Some ideas for a message would be to tell the Veteran why they are important, what you plan to do this year to remember our nation's proud military history, or the reason you want to wish them a Happy Valentine's Day. You could also thank the Veteran for his or her service, sacrifice and commitment to our country and citizens. Valentine’s Day sheets will be available at the River Centre or the Town Office on the following dates:

River Centre:     February 7^th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm at the Before the Mast concert

Town Office:      February 8^th - 12^th from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

After 5:00 pm on Friday, February 12^th the Valentine’s Day messages will be collected and made available to local veterans.
